Robert Stephen Warner, 69, passed away at his home in Flowery Branch, Georgia on Sunday, October 22. He was the son of the late James and Ruth Warner and lived most of his life on the family farm near Huntertown, Indiana. He graduated from Huntertown High School and Purdue University. His occupation was in educational technology, but his passion was golf. He moved to Georgia to be close to family and enjoy his favorite pastime. He was looking forward to retiring and attending the Ryder Cup in France in 2018. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Michael. He is survived by his son, Robert Jonathan Warner of Indianapolis; two granddaughters, Ashtyn Warner and Morgan Warner from the Atlanta area; a sister, Malea (David) Kruse, a niece, Marisa Kruse, and a nephew, Justin (Jenna) Kruse. Service is 1:30 pm, Saturday, October 28, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Rd with calling one hour prior. Calling also Friday, October 27, 2017 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Huntertown Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Huntertown United Methodist Church.
