ROBERTA L. SMITH, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, 7 a.m., at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born May 17, 1947, in Boonesville, MO., She was a daughter of the late Robert Paul Smith and Francis Goins Smith. Working in the healthcare industry, she was a C.N.A. for Victoria Special Care Center. Surviving are her daughters, Crystal Day of Fort Wayne and Michele Baker of Lakeside, Calif.; brother, Dale Wayne Smith of Texarkansas, Ark.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Marvin Cecil Henry Baker Jr. Graveside service is 11 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2014, at IOOF Cemetery on Hartzell Road, in New Haven. Arrangements by C.M.
