Rolando Aguilera Jr., 28, passed away March 6, 2025, in Whitley County, Indiana. He was born March 30, 1996, in El Monte, CA. He graduated from South Side High School in 2014. Rolando was a team leader at Teijin Automotive Technologies in Huntington, IN and has been employed for 10 years.
Rolando was the best father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to anyone who he came across. He was a very genuine person with a big heart willing to help anyone at any time. He had a very intimidating look to him due to his size but he was just a big teddy bear walking around. Rolando had an infectious laugh that will be greatly missed. He loved the fast life, like having the fastest cars in Fort Wayne and revving his engine as loud as he could, making the town shake. Very proud of his parents, Rolando decided to get his first & only tattoo honoring the love and respect he had for his family getting “Aguilera” tattooed on the back of his forearm.
His most important milestone in life was the privilege of becoming a father to his son Rolando Ray Aguilera Jr. The love for his little family after moving out was unmatched. Always on the hunt for the next opportunity to provide the biggest fetch for his small family. Not to mention the love and talent he had for cooking. From a full course meal, to tasty desserts, or to his bomb horchata. These are only a few of the loving qualities he had, if we kept going there wouldn’t be an end. Rolando leaves behind love, kindness, and unforgettable memories amongst his friends, family, and son.
He is survived by his parents, Rolando and Trinidad Aguilera of Fort Wayne, IN; son, Rolando Aguilera; brother, Brian Aguilera; sisters, Elizabeth Vasquez, Jacquline Aguilera; and girlfriend Erica Robinson, all of Fort Wayne, IN; grandparents Ismael Aguilera, Aurora Ramirez, Guillermina Lugo and Vintorino Villalobos.
