Ronald C. Snyder

SNYDER, Ronald C. 70, of Springfield, passed away August 28, 2016 in Dayton Veterans Administration Hospice. He was born May 31, 1946 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, the son of Ed and Ruth (Cartwright) Snyder. Ron served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He worked for and retired from Navistar after over thirty years of service. Survivors include his daughter, Mechille Lawson of Springfield; son, Mark (Cathy) Snyder of Clarkston, Michigan; sister, Nancy Ort of Auburn, Indiana; brother, Larry Snyder of Ft. Wayne; fifteen grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Peggy Snyder; son, Daniel; sister, Carol Cronkite; two brothers, Dick and Jim Snyder. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 - 6 p.m. Wednesday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. Private graveside services with military honors will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Ft.
