Ronald L. Trocchio, Sr. 84, of Fort Wayne, Indiana and native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 5, 2025, with family at his side. He was born October 27, 1940, to the late C. Andrew and Mary (née Campbell) Trocchio. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Karin E. Trocchio.
Ron, as many knew him, was a Christian. He worked as a salesman for 26 years at US Steel Corp., retiring in 2003, and at Midwest Pipe and Steel.
He leaves to cherish many memories to his three children; brothers, Mark (Billie Jo) Trocchio, John (Barbara) Trocchio; a sister, Connie (Ronald) Elrich; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; daughter at heart, Kimberly Trocchio; other relatives and friends.
A service celebrating his life will be 12:00 pm on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes – Maplewood Park, 4017 Maplecrest Road (46815), with visitation 2 hours prior to services. Visitation will also be from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home on Monday, September 15, 2025. Ron will be laid to rest in Highland Park Cemetery.
