Roselyn L. Ream, 93 passed away Friday December 17, 2021 at Saint Anne Home and Retirement Community. She was born July 18, 1928, to Harvey and Henrietta Rockey. She was a devoted wife to Tom, loving mother to five children, and fun grandma, who enjoyed cheering on her grandkids at their sporting events. Though Rosey spent most of her life caring for her family, she had a heart for the poor, and was involved in establishing St. Andrew’s Soup Kitchen and faithfully served there. After Tom retired, the couple became co-owners of Roselyn’s Antique for 20 years. Rosey enjoyed lake life, boat rides at sunset, dogs, and ice cream.
She is survived by her children, Gregory (Chris) Ream of Hudson, IN; Gary (Eunice) Ream of Norcross, GA; Sally Ream of Fort Wayne, IN; Sharon (Don) Wilkinson of Temecula, CA; and Timothy (Tonya) Ream of Fort Wayne, IN; brother Dave Rockey of Indianapolis, IN; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, who all enjoyed her silliness and laughter. Rosey was preceded in death by her husband Tom, granddaughter Leah Ream, sisters, Marianne Campbell, and Judy Boyce.
Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, with burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made for Masses at St. Charles Catholic Church where Rosey was a member, or St. Andrews Soup Kitchen. Arrangements by D.O.
