Roxann (Gump) O’Brien, 80, of Zanesville, passed away at her residence, Saturday, July 10, 2021. She was born Sunday, September 29, 1940 to the late Herbert and Majorie (Fogel) Gump. She was a teacher and principal of St. Aloysius Catholic School and was a long time member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Yoder. Roxann was very artistic. She enjoyed flowers, reading, and gardening. She is survived her husband, Daniel “Dan” O’Brien; daughters, Rachel (Andy) Blaising and Carrie (Michelle) O’Brien; son, Michael O’Brien; grandchildren, Alicia, Jasmine, Lauren, and Noelle; sister, Zandra (Tim) Bower; and brother, Burnell (Rhonda) Gump. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Friday, July 16, 2021 at St. Aloyius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Rd., Yoder, IN 46798 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be held from 2-4pm & 6-8pm on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Klaehn, Fahl, & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46819 with a Rosary Service beginning at 4pm. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
