Ruth Rose Cotterman

RUTH "ROSE" (MONK) COTTERMAN, passed away on -Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Ellen Mae Mason. Rose was a Cosmetology instructor for 40 years finally retiring from Four County Area Vocational in 2008. She is survived by her devoted husband, Tony Cotterman; daughter, Flo (Ed) Woodward; son, Jackie (Sharon) Monk; daughter-in-law, Jill Swygart; stepdaughters, Stormy Cotterman and Wendy (Eric) Simion; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her three sons, Fred, Paul and Bob Swygart; three brothers, Harvey, Jim and David Mason; and four sisters, Gertrude Mason, Mary Patterson, Dorothy Lott, and Florence Smith. Service is noon Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior.
