Ruth Ann Hardwick

Ruth Ann Hardwick, 55, passed away at Parkview Regional Medical Center on Thursday, April 13, 2023. A lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of Raymond and Linda (Languell) Peters. Ruth worked as a driver for Proline Carriers. She had a passion for all animals but especially for cats, mini collies, and shelties. Ruth enjoyed crocheting, diamond art, traveling, and mountains. She was a big fan of all music but loved her 80s rock music. Ruth was known for her dancing (even chair dancing), cooking, and was an avid collector of dolphins. She developed a love of photography and would often take pictures of all the beautiful scenery that surrounded her. Ruth was a big WWE and Greenbay Packers fan. Some of her favorite cartoon characters were Betty Boop, Eeyore, Tweety Bird, and Tinker Bell. Lastly, she adored her family and children, especially her grandchildren. They were her world! Ruth is survived by her mother, Linda (Languell) Peters; fiancé, Joseph "Joe" Ramirez; children, Todd Peters, Rebecca McDonald, Ashlynn McDonald, and Cheyenne (Karl) Kirby; grandchildren, Christopher, Sophyah, Isacc, Ezekiel, Elijah, Leah, Ethan, and Karmin; siblings, Daniel (Diana) Peters, and Raetta (Doug) Pearson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Peters. A celebration of life will be held from 5:00-8:00pm on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Lunz Reception Hall 3333 Freeman Street Fort Wayne, Indiana 46802.
