Ruth E. Martin, 79, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Kingston Care Center in Fort Wayne,IN surrounded by her family. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late William Herman and Ethel Gottfried. Ruth was an Insurance Agent with AFLAC for 10 years, and also worked at the Scotts Bakery. Surviving are her children, Robin (Scott) Riley of Huntertown, IN; Ronald (Amy) Martin, Jr. of Huntertown, IN; Risa (Charles) Petrie of Sewell, NJ; Rita Hanna of Fort Wayne, IN; Rosemary (Scott) Scheele of Fort Wayne, IN; Ruthie (Andrew) McCray of Fort Wayne, IN; Roanne (Sean) Marlow of Huntertown, IN; Dennis Elick of Fort Wayne, IN; step-son, Scott (Debbie) Holley of Fortville, IN; 25 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren . Ruth was preceded in death by husband of 54 years, Ronald W Martin. Service is 10:30 am, Monday July 16, 2018 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road with calling one hour prior. Calling also at Sunday, July 15, 2018, from 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
