Ruthie Mae Yoder, 56, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at her home. Born July 3, 1964 in Omaha, Neb., she was a daughter of the late Howard and Carol (Sarles) Sandel. A graduate of Elmhurst High School, class of 1982, she was a server at the Hilton Fort Wayne for over 19 years. In her younger years, she and her husband enjoyed bowling. Recently, she enjoyed crocheting, flower gardening, country music, and watching TV to include shows such as Law and Order, Criminal Minds, and the Antenna TV Channel. Mostly, she treasured the time spent with her family and children. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Wesley Todd Yoder of Fort Wayne; daughter, Amber Wilson of Fort Wayne; son, Zachary (Ashton Stier) Yoder of Fort Wayne; granddaughter, Azahleia Yoder; sisters, Bobbette Chavez of Anderson, Ind., and Nellie (Timothy Sr.) Charles of Fort Wayne; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
