Sandra “Sandee” Lee Moore, 75, of Fort Wayne, walked into Heaven on November 21, 2025. She was born March 17,1950 to the late Walter and Pauline Updyke, in Altoona, PA. At an early age, she and her family moved to Fort Wayne, IN, where she graduated from North Side High School in 1968. On Christmas day of her senior year, she became engaged to her high school sweetheart, Harry “Roger” Moore and was married the following January for 47 years. Roger and Sandee raised three boys, Derek (wife Betsey, son Braden), Scott (wife Megan, sons Avery, Elijah, Owen), and Daniel (son Jakob, daughters Aneka, Eliot, Aurelia).
Throughout her adult life, Sandee studied computer programming at Ivy Tech Community College and held various positions and roles at Star Financial Bank, multiple title and loan companies, and even local factories. One of her favorite jobs, however, included showing her creative side in renovating local homes in the Fort Wayne community. In her free time, Sandee was an avid reader of Danielle Steele books and religious viewer of Court TV and crime documentaries.
Sandee will be remembered fondly by members of her beloved First Grace Brethren Church community, co-workers, and The Junk Yard Band family. Their love and support touched her life in countless ways. She is also survived by half brother, Tom; half-sisters, Gloria and Caroline; and their respective families.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with family and friends.
