Sandra Kay Vanover

Sandra Kay Vanover, 78, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 23, 2025. She departed this life with the unwavering faith she held so dear, ready to be with her Lord Jesus Christ in heaven.

Born with an infectious zest for life, Sandra truly loved meeting people and was known for always wearing a radiant smile. For years, she diligently ran offices, but her desire for more personal connection led her to embrace a new path. She became a bartender, not just as a job, but as a way to "experience the friendly side of life" and share her warm presence with everyone she encountered. Sandra was always quick to shake your hand and offer a cheerful "hello," making friends wherever she went.

She never seemed to have a "down day" and made it her mission to inspire others with her positive outlook. Her laugh was truly infectious, filling rooms with joy, and people often found themselves drawn to her captivating spirit. Sandra openly shared all her dreams and hopes, living a life rich in connection and genuine warmth. Her deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ was a cornerstone of her existence, providing her comfort and guiding her through life's journey.

Sandra is survived by her loving sons, Charles Gregory and Jean-Paul Gregory; her five cherished grandchildren; and two adored great-grandchildren. Her legacy of joy, kindness, and unwavering faith will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

In accordance with Sandra's wishes, no funeral or showing will be held.
