Scott H. Putt

Scott H. Putt, 76, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Scott worked as a supervisor with GE for 26 years, retiring in 2004 from Phelps Dodge. He was a member of American Legion Post 241 and the Eagles. Scott enjoyed bird watching and the outdoors. As a young man he was an excellent marksman. He was a loving dad and grandpa and will be missed greatly. Surviving are his two children, Janelle (Richard) Schlup and Scott W. Putt both of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren, Logan and Michelle Schlup; brothers, Terry (Pam) Putt and Michael (Barb) Putt both of Fort Wayne; and many nephews and a niece. Scott was preceded in death by brother, John Putt; sister-in-law, Bev Putt; father, Joseph Putt; and mother, Irene Putt. Service is 10:00 am, Friday, December 15, 2017 at - D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road with Pastor Darrell Weigelt officiating. Calling at - D.O.
