

Sharon Marie Fosnaugh, 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, October 2, 2025. Sharon was born on June 2, 1940, to Charles and Martha Westfall in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She lived in Fort Wayne all her life and graduated from Central High School in 1958. She was a cancer survivor, having been diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 17. Sharon married the love of her life, Robert Fosnaugh, in 1960. They were married 65 years.
A devoted mother of two, grandmother of five, and great grandmother of three, Sharon loved big! She loved God, her family, her church, and her garden. She delighted in spending time with her grandchildren, reading to them, and making special gifts for them. Her “quiet books” are a prized-possession of her grandchildren! Sharon loved all things flowers, and worked as a florist for many years. She also enjoyed crocheting, crafting and sewing for her family; and often made matching dresses for her granddaughters. Robert and Sharon are members of Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, where she served on the greeting team. Her warmth, smiles and hugs will be remembered by many. Baker extraordinaire, her coffee cake, snickerdoodles, Christmas cookies and monkey bread are legendary! Sharon loved to sing, and was very fond of gospel music; in particular, Gaither music. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, sense of humor (she loved to tease and laugh), caring nature, love of God, and her delight in beautiful plants and flowers. Sharon is now delighting in God's heavenly garden!
Sharon is survived by her husband, Robert Fosnaugh; son, Lane (Karen) Fosnaugh; daughter, DeLana (Ken) Millington; grandchildren, Joy (Ian) Arnold, Laura (Taylor) Flemming, Sarah Fosnaugh, and Heather Millington; great-grandchildren, Eden Flemming, Cedar Flemming and Caden Arnold. Preceding her in death are her parents, Charles and Martha Westfall; brother, Paul (Carol) Westfall; granddaughter, Hope Millington; and daughter-in-law, Janelle Fosnaugh.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, 8611 Mayhew Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46835. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 10, 2025 at the church, with visitation one hour prior. Burial to follow the service at Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church of the Nazarene World Missions fund.
