Sharon E. Goodwin, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018. She was born to the late George and Geraldine (Nicole) Wagner on June 24, 1940. Sharon retired from Wells Fargo after a career in banking for over 40 years. She loved to play cards and bingo. She was an avid reader and a master of crossword puzzles. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was very active in their lives.
Sharon is survived by her children, Lew (Amy) Goodwin, Lisa Gressley, and Karen (John) Bercot; grandchildren, Savannah Gressley, Michael Goodwin, Daniel Bercot, Joseph Goodwin, Elizabeth Bercot, Sarah Goodwin, and Rachael Bercot; great-grandchildren, Adaleah Lopez and Liliana Goodwin; brothers, George (Midge) Wagner, Steve Wagner, and Bob (Jean) Wagner; and a host of relatives and friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward L. Goodwin.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at 1:00 pm at Klaehn, Fahl, and Melton Funeral Home (6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819) with visitation beginning at 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at the Catholic Cemetery.
