Shirley Ann Griffith

Shirley Ann Griffith, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Markle Health and Rehabilitation Center. Shirley was born in Huntington, IN, daughter to the late Paul F. and Frances (Friedman) Kilty. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and retired in 1990 from Lincoln National Bank. She had previously worked as a clerk at the BMV, and secretary at Bishop Dwenger High School and Fort Wayne Newspapers. Surviving are her children, Sandra L. (George - Deceased) Juillerat of Ossian, IN, Guy W. (Eileen) Griffith of Jimmerson Lake, IN, Richard N. (Tina) Griffith of New Haven, IN, Bret A. (Deborah) Griffith of Fort Wayne, IN, and LeeAnn (Mike) Richter of Fort Wayne, IN; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and sister, Rosemary Atwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jerry L. Griffith in 2009; grandchildren, Melinda Rybolt and Eric Rybolt; and eight siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819 with visitation taking place from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 prior to Mass at the church. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Contributions in Shirley's memory may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice or St. Therese Catholic Church.
