STEPHEN "STEVE" DEAN, 51, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014. Born in Fort Wayne, Steve graduated from Elmhurst High School. Later, he worked as an outside sales representative with Bostwick Braun Co. for several years. He was a Board member of the Christmas Bureau. Steve was a family man that was especially fond of his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and telling stories. Surviving are his wife, Anna J. Dean; daughters, Amanda (Jeff) Schmitz, Kimberly (Kevin) Anema and Jennifer Dean, all of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Gage, Jaxon and Jaelynn; brothers, David A. Dean, Tom C. Dean, Robert E. Dean, and Gerald L. (Linda) Dean, all of Fort Wayne; and sisters, Rebecca L. Dean, Teresa M. Dean, Diana L. (Chuck) Kelly, and Loretta A. Dean, all of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norma J. and Athern Dean; and brother, Mike Dean. Memorial service is 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the grandchildren's college fund in c/o Anna Dean.
