Stephen H. Leacock , 74, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at Visiting Nurse in Fort Wayne. Born in St. Paul, MN, Stephen worked as a Systems Engineer with Magnavox which later became Raytheon for 40 years. He retired from Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson, AZ. Stephen served his country as a member of the US Navy. Stephen enjoyed animals, fishing, canoeing, gardening, photography, and jigsaw puzzles. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Leacock of Fort Wayne; brother, Clifford (Teddie) Leacock of St. Anthony, MN; sister, Elizabeth Miernik of Phoenix, AZ; and many nieces and nephews. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Agnes Leacock. Service is 11:00 am, Thursday, September 21, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd with calling one hour prior. Calling also Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials may be made to the Allen County SPCA or Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control.
