Oh my what a loss. I went to Greeley Wesleyan for several years.  Pastor Steve was such a blessing and truly a man of God. He will be greatly missed. Prayers to your family at this difficult time. Heaven has gained a great and humble man. God bless.

Dennis and I were so blessed to have Pastor Stephen Wilson as our Camp Meeting Speaker at the Iowa/Minnesota District camp.  He offered challenging messages each night, as well as shared antidotes from his childhood.  He offered encouragement to those of us in ministry, as well as practical applications. It was a blessing to get to know him and Rebecca.  We loved having his Dad, Earle Wilson to our Annual Conference when we served in Australia.  Our prayers are with the family as you grieve his loss.

It was a sad day when I heard of Steve's passing.  He meant so much to our family.  Thanks for sharing him with all of us.  I know there were nights and days that he would have loved to have been spending time with you instead of attending another meeting, another speaking assignment, another meeting.  I have so many memories it would be hard to know where to begin.   We are so sorry for your loss. God bless you.

I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to know Pastor Steve and Rebecca !!   Steve reluctantly went from suit and tie to cowboy boots !!   He tried to help me one day when I was looking at computers at Best Buy.....explaining the good, bad, and ugly.

The man of God brother Steve Wilson is at home with Jesus. I thank God for allowing our paths to cross. The saints are heading home to that celestial city where they will never grow old. Pastor Steve was my all time favorite Pastor while he was at Greeley Wesleyan. His in depth and deep hitting sermons kept me coming back. He was a leadership mentor and I was so happy to have been able to have been a part of his Church. God bless Steve and his family. 

In February, 2014, Joshe Bose, Carol, and I had the privilege of being invited as special guests for Global Mission weekend at Greeley Wesleyan Church. Pastor Steve & Rebecca were gracious hosts for the weekend as they and the Church pledged to generously support the new Wesleyan Church of Bangladesh. Out of that weekend came a Wesley Seminary Scholarship for National Leader Joshe and the funding for the start and building of the Rebecca Home for Girls in Bangladesh. 

We are grateful to Pastor Steve for his leadership and support then and throughout these years. Our prayers join in remembering Rebecca and family during these days!

Will always remember Steve with great fondness.  He spoke the truth of God and I am so grateful for that.  God used him abundantly.  I am sure he had a great homecoming! My thoughts and prayers are with his family.  God bless you!

Oh the silly memories of sharing the flu and "bellying up to the bar" to get a coffee. I thank you. Thank you Rebecca for sharing him, yourself and your family with our Q family for 25 years in Greeley.  "Because He lives, all fear is gone." How wonderful to now he is with Him who knows our future. Praying for you all for peace and comfort while he rests with Jesus. 

Dear Rebecca, Heidi and Christopher,
We have missed you and Stephen! Your Husband and Father helped Paul and I understand a lot of life lessons...how to build a stronger marriage, how to love your neighbor, how to tithe, how to honor God, how to laugh at things that are funny and laugh at things that we don't have any control over! He dedicated Kathy to the Lord when we adopted her.  He counseled all our kids before they got married (so grateful for that)! He watched and laughed as Jared and Chelsey spilled the "unity-sand" all over the table and as Jordan cried through his vows and Elaine laughed, with Steve patting Jordan's back laughing and saying, "you can do this, Jordan!"  You drove all the way up to the beautiful Rocky Mountains to marry Kathy and Brett and stayed up late on New Year's Eve to marry Jason and Cassie! Paul has fun stories about hunting together and riding all over the countryside looking for a good "bird patch!" They would talk sports,  family and what God was doing in their lives.  He helped me have a vision for the Community Outreach Center and how to continue to help His people. His sermons were timely and had such an amazing  quality~ being full of life applications.  They were always backed up by scripture and helped us know God's Word. We have his books and occasionally quote a funny story or "a time when..." comes up in our conversations, even now. We enjoyed Christmastime and Rockies games. He made us laugh, then he made us cry. He made us think, then pray. He helped us stretch our gifts and he helped us learn to give.  We know that the Lord shared Steve with us, just as you have. We miss him but know that when we "get to the otherside"...He will be sitting there waiting and saying-"I told you so! Isn't it Great to be part of His Family." 
Paul says Steve taught him the most important 7 words you would  hear were..."Well done, my Good and Faithful Servant." We are sure that Steve has already heard those words. Amen

I met Pastor Steve when I first visited Greeley Wesleyan Church in 2013.  I had gone to their incredible Christmas programs, but had never heard their pastor speak.  After hearing Pastor Steve teach, and getting pages of notes, I knew I had found my new church home.  I attended for a year and a half, then chose to join; the first time I'd ever joined a church.  I learned so much from Pastor Steve about God's Word, the person of Jesus, and living a life as a child of God.  Many Composition books were filled with his wisdom.  Prayers and blessings to all of his family.  We all know we'll see him again one day.

So sad to hear about this tragic loss of your husband, father, and friend.  There is no one who could preach such profound messages that made it seem the message was just for me.  I felt this time and time again. It was as if God was preaching to me through Pastor Steve.  The scriptures and preaching he could do without a note was incredible! We all grieve for your loss but know that he will be waiting for us all in heaven.  He changed so many lives and mine was one of them.  Praying for you all! May God and comfort you during this sad sad time.

Pastor Steve  was a awesome pastor and he will be dearly missed on earth but will be  blessing  all those in heaven.

I had the privilege of serving in the same district with Steve for many years. Whenever I heard him preach, chair our district ministerial board, or lead in other capacities, I was struck with his anointing, leadership, and wisdom. He welcomed me as a younger minister and impacted the lives of thousands of people. His love for his family was so evident. I was grateful to have an opportunity to see him at his father's memorial service and share a conversation, a hug, and moments as fellow pastors and friends. 

My prayers are with Rebecca and the entire family during this time of loss. 



Pastor Steve was a wonderful man and follower of Jesus. His teachings helped me in my journey closer to my Savior. I am blessed to have learned from his teachings. Heaven has gained another Angel.

Lee and I are so sorry to hear about Steve’s passing.  He was a devoted follower of Christ and was loved by so many of us.

Stephen Earle Wilson was called Pastor, Counselor, Consultant, Professor, Speaker, Loving Husband, Father, and Papa. He said it best though with…Hello my name is Steve, and I am your friend. Stephen Wilson loved Jesus first followed by his wife Rebecca and then his family. As a family we will miss him deeply, but rest on the assurance that he fought the good fight and is now in Heaven with his Heavenly Father. We love you Dad, and we will miss you on earth, but we know we will be caught up together with you in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18.
