Steven A. Langston, 68, of Allen County, IN, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024. He was born in Fort Wayne, son to the late Arthur and Eileen (Smith) Langston. Steven was a South Side High School graduate and served in the U. S. Air Force. He retired in 2015 from Federal Protective Services. Surviving are his children, Stephanie Gerardot of Fort Wayne, Jeremy (Gretchen) Cooley of Monroeville, and Jason Cooley of New Haven; grandchildren, Savanna White, Lexi Rhymer, Jenna Cooley, Colton Gerardot, Wyatt Cooley, and Waylon Cooley; sister, Linda (Dean) Pickett of Freeport, IL; and brother, Stan Langston of Fort Wayne. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Barbara Ann Langston. A celebration gathering and time of sharing for Steven will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46819.
