Sylvia Lee Hinds

Sylvia Lee Saver Hinds, 81, lifetime native of Fort Wayne, passed 11/8/2020. She was born 8/12/1939 and was a 1957 Graduate of Central High. Her interests were gardening, reading, current events, and history. Her passion was pursuing and serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A testimony to her faith was her love and devotion showered to family and friends and her generosity and grace to complete strangers. We shall so miss watching thunderstorms light up your sunroom, watching the many birds and butterflies in your gardens, and sipping tea watching the sun set in your Pagoda. Most of all, we shall miss our time with you and the marathon conversations we so frequently engaged. For such memories, we thank God and into His arms we know she is best. Sylvia is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert G. Hinds; children, Denise (Tim Conquergood) Antinnucci, Steve Hinds, Douglas Hinds, Neal (Susan) Hinds, and Michael Hinds; grandchildren, Chance (Kaitlyn) Antinnucci and Cherish (Brooks Doak) Antinnucci; great grandchildren, Amilia Rey Antinnucci and Cleo Doak; sister, Laura Shultz; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Dolores and Wayne Sharpe; and brother, David Sharpe. A private family service will be held for Sylvia Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819.
