

Tabetha Anne Sproat, 34, of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 30, 2021. Born May 14, 1987 in Fort Wayne, she was a graduate of Northrop High School, class of 2005. She furthered her education at IPFW where she studied theatre arts for several years. She later graduated from Rudae's School of Beauty Culture as a licensed cosmetologist and was employed with JCPenney and Smart Style. A wonderful homemaker, she loved being home with her two daughters, Sawyer Rose Sproat and Reese Adaline Sproat, and playing with her two fur babies, Radar and Onyx. She enjoyed show choir, theatre, styling hair, animals, and listening to the band, Shinedown. Tabetha was outspoken, strong, genuine, and free-spirited. She was often very passionate and expressive about her views. “Many have said that she instilled confidence in them, motivated them, and inspired others.” Surviving are her loving husband, Josh Sproat of Fort Wayne; daughters, Sawyer Rose Sproat and Reese Adaline Sproat, both of Fort Wayne; parents, Maureen (Mike) Williams of Fort Wayne; brothers, Dustin Brake of Indianapolis, Ind., and Cody (Amber) Brake of Fort Wayne; maternal grandfather, Frank Jastrzemski of Fort Wayne; seven nieces; one nephew; father & mother in-law, John (Jennifer) Sproat of Fort Wayne; and brother-in-law, John (Megan) Sproat of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her biological father, Greg Brake; brother, Travis Brake; and maternal grandmother, Doris Jastrzemski. Graveside Service is 11:00am on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. A luncheon will follow the graveside service at St. Vincent Scout Lodge.
