Tara Christie Sewelin Shepherd, age 44, of Celina, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Columbia City, Indiana on May 18, 1979 to Larry and Christie (nee Counts) Sewelin. Tara graduated from Dekalb High School, Class of '97 and attended Ross University and also earned her Real Estate license. She loved hunting, playing 'Halo' and cheering on her beloved Notre Dame football team but cherished time spent with friends and family the most.
Tara is survived by her children, Corbyn, Jade, and Tegan Geiger; siblings, Nicole (Greg) Thomas, Dustin (Denise) Sewelin, and Brent Sewelin; parents, Larry and Christie Sewelin; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 14, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne.
