Terry was united in marriage to Deborah Harmeyer in 1981, and together they built a life and family, raising four children. He later married Kelly Vanderford.
In his younger years, Terry had a passion for racing and could often be found at Baer Field and Avilla Motor Speedway. He also enjoyed spending time fishing, golfing, and bowling. Later in life, he found joy in attending slot track races and relaxing at home with his beloved dogs.
Terry dedicated much of his career as a cement truck mechanic at Erie Haven, where he was known for his hard work and dedication.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry Barnhart and Carol Williams (Barnhart); his wives, Deborah Barnhart and Kelly Barnhart; his son, Steven Barnhart; and his granddaughter, Kyri Barnhart.
He is survived by his children, Katrina Barnhart, Christopher (Kirsten) Barnhart, and Larry (Sierah) Barnhart; and his six grandchildren, Ajanae, Niya, Jackson, Charley, Rai, and Hazel, along with many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.
