

Thomas B. Warner, age 84, of North Webster, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025. Born September 7, 1941, in Sterling, Illinois, Tom was the beloved son of Robert H. Warner and Cristeen A. Warner.
A proud graduate of Sterling High School, Tom began his career in healthcare as an X-ray technician at the University of Iowa in 1961. He served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1962 to 1965. After his military service, Tom settled in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he worked for the United States Postal Service until his retirement in 2004.
In retirement, Tom found joy and tranquility living on the shores of Lake Tippecanoe in North Webster, Indiana. He was known for his sense of humor, storytelling, and deep love for family and history.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved son, Jason Warner (1995). He is survived by his sister, Rebecca Warner Hackett; nephew, Robert Clift; nieces, Kim Headrick and Jennifer Thom; four great- nieces and a great-nephew.
He now rests in peace in the hands of the Lord, reunited with those he loved and missed. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy will live as one of the final bearers of the Thomas Warner name from the lineage that first settled in North Webster, Indiana in the mid 1800s.
On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, Tom was laid to rest next to his son, Jason Warner, in Covington Memorial Gardens - Fort Wayne, Indiana.
