Timothy L. Gaskill passed away on November 17, 2024. Born on July 30, 1953, he was a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, IN and a die-hard Colts fan. Tim loved all of his dogs, past and present; he will be glad to see those who have passed before him, and waiting for the others to come. He loved being outdoors, enjoying gardening and hunting. Fishing was his favorite!
Timothy worked as a mechanic for 21 years at Hires Auto Parts and then transitioned to Reelcraft in Columbia City for another 25 years before retiring.
Timothy is survived by his wife, Debra J. Gaskill of Fort Wayne; sister, Linda Anderson of California; brother, Donald Gaskill (Ronda Kubley) of Butler; brother in law, Denny (Patty) Trubey; and step-children, Carrie Gibson of Butler, Grant and Christy Weber of Garrett; Ryan and Cathy Emenhiser of Butler; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Robert J. Jr. and Dortha M. Gaskill; a brother, Robert Jr. III of Fort Wayne; his sisters, Susie Krontz of Butler, Judy Short and Patty Knepper of Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Deann Gaskill of Butler; and his companion of many years, Karen Kohart.
Services will be Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home – Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne 46804 with calling one hour prior. The family will also receive guests on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
