Timothy John Muntzinger, 68, of Fort Wayne, Indiana went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 23, 2026, in Houston, Texas. He was born on June 27, 1957, to Vincent and Helen (Schumm) Muntzinger. Tim graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School in 1975 and Lincoln Technical Institute in 1977. He attended Emmanuel Community Church.
Tim worked beside his brother at Mark’s Body shop for 50 years. He was an avid traveler and enjoyed meeting new people. He participated in several mission trips around the world to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ and genuinely loved helping people. He had an infectious smile, big laugh, and positive outlook on life.
Tim performed in several bands throughout the years, such as A Few Good Men and Destiny. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing drums, singing, making hot pepper mustard, helping his brother on the farm, and spending time with friends and family. Tim considered his friends and their children as part of his family.
He is survived by brother, Mark (E. Doreen) Muntzinger of Roanoke, IN; sister, Eunice (Gary) Ream of Peachtree Corners, GA; two nieces and four nephews, Angie (Joe) Puthoff of Indianapolis, IN, Logan (Darcy) Wynn of Bend, OR, Tom (Betsy) Ream and family and Nathan (Katherine) Ream of Atlanta, GA, Blake Muntzinger of Long Beach, CA, and Laura (Andrew) Terril of Fort Wayne, IN; great-nephew & great-niece, Eli and Tenley Puthoff of Indianapolis, IN; along with countless friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, niece, Rachel Marie Muntzinger; and nephew, Joseph Daniel Ream.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Emmanuel Community Church, 12222 US-24, Fort Wayne, IN 46814 with visitation from 9:00am until time of service. Visitation will also be held from 5:30pm-8:30pm on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the church.
