Timothy Wayne Myrice of Huntington was called home for greater need to the Lord our Savior on April 13, 2012. Tim was born in Toledo and was preceded in death by his parents Clifford Carl Myrice of Toledo and Joyce Kay Morgan-Brooks of Fort Wayne. Those that knew him, loved him. Tim was a very impassioned man in every aspect of his life. He is a retired, disabled, Veteran having served his country with honor from K I Sawyer AFB in Michigan during Desert Storm (1988-1992). After his service to his country he held various occupations, not really settling in one area of focus until he found personal security – his true passion. Tim was the proud owner of the successful 10 year security company, Absolute Protection of Fort Wayne. He provided services to many companies and individuals and always placed safety above all else. Anyone that ever worked with him knew that he was an EXPERT in what he was doing. He had also been a proud member of the Ossian reserve police department for 8 years. Taking care of people – showing grace and mercy were his God-given gifts. There was never a need that went unmet with Tim by your side. He was a caring partner and loving provider. He loved to travel and see the wonders of this God’s creation and would never dismiss an opportunity to help others. He was a true giver. Music was an outlet that provided much joy and it didn’t matter the genre it could be Christian or Rap; music was in his soul. He was also a lover of the animal kingdom and will be missed by Molly his Lab, 2 Macaws Corky & Swinger, countless fish and the underwater world he had only begun to explore. Surviving Tim are his wife Caryn (Henderson), daughter Marissa, son Trey and step-children Crystal, Bryan and Kyle Lagemann; his brother Cliff and his wife Av and their three daughters Gabrielle, Margarite, and Rory of Decatur, his (step) father Vernon Brooks and wife Denise of Fort Wayne along with Albert and Bonnie (Rude) Henderson of Orland who were more like parents than in-laws. In addition, there are numerous members of the family spread out throughout the country and friendships that he has developed along life’s journey – there wasn’t a stranger that Tim didn’t know!
Please celebrate the life that Tim so richly lived with friends and family at 7:00pm on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Rd.
