

Tina L Litchin, Syracuse, IN, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away on March 24, 2016 surrounded by her family. Born in 1931 in Sheshtevo, Greece, Tina immigrated with her family to Fort Wayne where she graduated from South Side High School. After graduating from Bowling Green State University, Tina taught at Franklin Jr. High School of Fort Wayne. Later, Tina became a certified travel agent and owner of Atlantis Travel. She was a lifetime member of St Nicholas Eastern Orthodox Church. Tina was also active in the Aboite River Women's Club, and the Women's Committee of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic. She served on the Turnstone Board of Trustees. She was an avid reader and gardener, Tina also painted, knitted, sewed, golfed, and was an excellent dancer. Tina's husband of sixty-one years, Nicholas Litchin survives her. Also surviving are her children, Craig Litchin of San Marcos, CA, Kent Litchin, (Amy) of Fort Wayne, Betsy LeClerc, (Mark) of Indianapolis, and Helen Schuchhardt, (Brad) of Huntertown, Her five grandchildren; Nicholas and Katherine Litchin, Olivia and John Schuchhardt, and Mary LeClerc. Her sister, Dotsa Bitove of Toronto, Canada, and sister-in-law Dorothy Lazoff of Fort Wayne. Tina was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Elena Lazoff, and brother, Luben Lazoff. Service is 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at St. Nicholas Eastern Orthodox Church, 3535 Crescent Ave with entry prayers at 8:30 am and calling 2 hours prior beginning at 9:00 am. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the St. Nicholas Eastern Orthodox Church or The Salvation Army.
