Virginia “Jenny” “Duber” Blauvelt (Sprinkle), age 79, passed away October 16, 2024. She was born on September 15, 1945, in Fayette, Alabama. Virginia married the love of her life, Larry, on February 25, 1966.
Virginia worked in the Fort Wayne Community School district beginning in 1981. She first began her career as a school bus driver for special needs students. At the time of her retirement in 2010, she was the FWCS special needs supervisor.
In her free time, Virginia loved to sing and dance. She also worshiped at Come To Go Ministries of Fort Wayne.
Virginia is survived by daughters, Diana Bauer and Julie Crabill, both of Fort Wayne; grandsons, Ty (Cassi) Bauer, of Fort Wayne, and Trevor (Olivia) Bauer, of Sarasota, FL; great-grandsons, Kace Bauer, Beck Bauer; great-granddaughter, Brin Bauer, all of Fort Wayne; and sister Beth Domiano, of Fort Wayne.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Larry; her parents, Cora and Alfred Sprinkle; sisters, Jenna V. Louise, Doris (Dean), Barb; and a brother, Edward (Bud).
A funeral will be on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home- Covington Knolls, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804, at 12:00 PM, with visitation from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Burial to follow at Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
