Vonnita Jozette Neal

Nita, as she was affectionately addressed, was born in Fort Wayne, IN to Fred & Alberta Dinkins. She attended North Side High School. She eventually became employed as a housekeeper at Life Care until her illness in 2001. Nita was highly praised for being a diligent housekeeper.

Nita symbolized her dedication to her heavenly Father, Jehovah, on November 9, 2013 at the Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Holt, MI. She attended the Tillman Park Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even in her final moments, Nita remained wholeheartedly convinced of Jehovah's promise of the resurrection hope as conveyed in her favorite Original Song: Just Around the Corner.

Nita will be lovingly remembered for brightening up the lives of her family, friends, medical personnel and fellow residents with her BEAUTIFUL smile.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred & Alberta Dinkins and fiance' Broderick Lovelace in addition to countless other beloved ones.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter E'Lise (Fred) Borden; son, Marquese Neal; sister, Vicky Neal; countless fellow worshippers of Jehovah; family and friends.

We, Vonnita's beloved family, wish to thank all of you who expressed your heartfelt loving support to us and most importantly of all, to our BEAUTIFUL BELOVED Mom, Vonnita. We count you all as a blessing. Vonnita's Memorial Service is at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6000 Abbott St., Fort Wayne, IN 46816. All floral tributes should be taken to the church.
