Warren J. McGahey, 87, died December 12, 2016 at home. Born December 4, 1929 in Charleston, WV he moved to Fort Wayne when he was a child. He graduated from North Side High School and Ball State University. He served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his son, Michael (Linda) McGahey, daughter Janet (Mick) Trahin, sister Ruth Miller, Garfield, OH, 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris, daughter Deborah Mudrack and grandchildren Shelly Stockert and Scott McGahey. Funeral services are Saturday, December 17, 2016 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 729 Washington at 12 noon, with calling one hour prior to service. Calling also at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Friday, December 16, 2016 from 5pm to 8 pm. Memorial donations may be given to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.
