

WILDA FLORENCE TINSLEY, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Ashton Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born July 24, 1921, in Fort Wayne, she was the only daughter of the late Rulo and Lillie (Smith) Cochran. Wilda was a wonderful homemaker who loved her family with her whole heart. She was a member of the Ecoette's Club for over 50 years and also a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church for 64 years. Wilda enjoyed traveling the world; having gone to Europe five times and visiting every state in the U.S. She also enjoyed playing bingo with her many friends at Coliseum Bingo. Surviving are her daughters, Laura (Larry) Ellenwood of Fort Wayne and Julie (Don) Jeffery of New Haven, Ind.; six grandchildren, Carrie Kiess, Andrew (Erin) Ellenwood, Gwyn (Brandon) Eastom, Jamie (Corey) Penn, Jenna (Levi) Nelson, and Amy Jeffery; and nine great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Paul Tinsley, in 2005; and an infant granddaughter, Amy Ellenwood. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2015, at the funeral home. Entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
