Willadean J. McKinley, 89, formerly of Fort Wayne, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 24, 2012, joining her high school sweetheart and husband of 69 years, Robert W. McKinley in their heavenly home. She was born June 23, 1923 in Angola, Indiana to the late William and Ona (German) Slick. She was a homemaker and served in various positions at her church. Surviving are children, Robert N. (Libby) McKinley of London, OH, Thomas L. (Sue) McKinley of Columbus, IN, and Jane A. (Kim) Leasure of Warsaw, IN; brother, Laurence Slick of N. Richland Hills, TX; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with visitation 2 hours prior. Entombment will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials may be made to Peabody Retirement Center or Alzheimer Association.
