William "Bill" Trigg

William “Bill” Trigg, 76, of Fort Wayne passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Bill was born on April 11, 1944 in Charleston, West Virginia. He was a son of the late William and Helen Trigg. Bill served in the United States Marine Corps for four years. He worked for Zollner Corporation in Fort Wayne, Indiana for 30 years. On September 26, 1986 Bill married Sue Trigg. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and gardening. Bill loved to travel with his wife to Orlando, Florida. Together they would go to dinner shows, shop, swim, and take walks on Cocoa beach. He had a passion for animals and loved his dogs dearly. Bill is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sue Trigg; his children, Angela Ingram and Scott Trigg; step-son, Adam (Tami) Grimme; grandchildren, Hannah, Kandice, Natalie, Tisha, and Cordelia; brothers, Bob, Steven, Gary, Greg, and Frank; sisters, Bonita and Betty; brother in-law, Rick (Kathy) Sowers and Stacy (Laura) Sowers; and a host of nieces and nephews. Also preceding him was his brother, Duke, sisters, Linda and Barb; and brother-in-law, Tim Sowers. Gathering of family friends will be held from 1-3pm on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals 6810 Old Trail Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809 with a time of sharing to begin at 3pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family in c/o of Susan Trigg.
