William J. Jacobson

William J. Jacobson, 87, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022. Born on March 16, 1935, in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late William O. and Edythe (Davis) Jacobson. William retired in 1995 from The Okonite Company of New Brunswick, New Jersey, after more than 26 years of service as a Production Control Manager. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sylvia (Brauner) Jacobson; children, Jeffrey Jacobson (Kristie), and Jodi Engebrecht (Jeff); eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; and sister, Mary Ellen Fruehan. A memorial service to honor William's life and legacy will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Emmanuel Community Church, 12222 US Highway 24 W, Fort Wayne, with calling beginning at 10:00 am, two hours prior to the service.
