William “Lynn” L. Roberts, 68, of New Haven, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at his home. Born January 30, 1953 in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late William and Ora (Buckmaster) Roberts. A graduate of Snider High School, he proudly served in the United States Air Force for four years. He was employed with GTE/ Verizon, for over 35 years from which he retired. Lynn enjoyed singing and playing guitar, NASCAR, Sci-Fi movies, shopping on Amazon, and traveling. Mostly, he treasured the time spent with his grandkids. A hard worker, he was loving, caring and dependable; a role model for his grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling to Vegas with his grandsons and flying over the Grand Canyon by helicopter. Surviving are his daughters, Stacey Roberts, Mandy Roberts, and Jill Roberts, all of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, Tonie, Isaiah, and Javien; siblings, Kathy (Jack) Hyndman, Mike (Chris) Roberts, Darla (Jeff) Kemery, Carrie (Chris) Mattern, and Mona (Al) Gilford. Funeral Service is at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Advantage Highland Park, 2403 East Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
