WILLIE B. ANDERSON, 79, passed away Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born Aug. 18, 1935, in Marion, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Chester and Louvenia Townes. She leaves to cherish her memory eight children, Betty (Hank) Sims, Debbie (Aubrey) Anderson, Penney (Todd) Andrews, Edward Jr., Diane, Necy, Rosemary and Marcus Anderson all of Fort Wayne; sisters, Carrie Beverly of Marion, Ala. and Ann (Pete) Wright Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Wanna Mae (Irwin) Padgett of San Antonio, Texas; brothers, Lovelace Townes and Louis (Debbie) Townes of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward D Anderson Sr.; brother, Chester Townes Jr.; and daughter, Beatrice Anderson. Service 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2015 at Come As You Are Community Church with calling one hour before service. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
