Zelda “Cookie” Ruth (Shull) Edwards, 69, passed away at home on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Born on November 7, 1956, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to parents pastor Everett Dwaine Shull Sr. and LaPaloma (Roberts) Shull, Cookie was beloved by so many.
A faithful volunteer at Community Harvest Food Bank and multiple agencies aiding the homeless, Cookie was a kind and generous spirit who always strived to help others and her community. She lived by the word of Christ and often attended bible studies. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting. Whether it was blankets, socks, you name it, she loved to express her creativity through the craft. Beyond all else, Cookie loved her family and cherished every moment she spent with them. In her time of need, her family was always there supporting and caring for her the way she cared for them throughout the years.
Surviving Cookie are her daughter, Pamela (Dave) Tripolone; grandchildren, Kershawn, Taylor, David, Anthony, and Alexander; and great-grandson, Brandon; her daughter, Jessica King; granddaughter, Breonna; and great-grandchildren, Bentley, Lillionna, Aryiaha, CJ, and Emma; and many beloved siblings. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Flisa K. Booher; and brother, Everett Shull Jr.
