Zoia Kirkpatrick, age 81, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 7, 2025. Zoia was born August 5, 1944, in Kharkov, Ukraine and lived a vibrant life full of love and adventure.
She was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Ed Kirkpatrick, and cherished her life’s journey, especially their shared passion for riding on the back of Harleys and traveling. She adored her daughter and grandson, filling their lives with warmth. Her dearest friend, Sharon Watson, of Churubusco, Indiana, was like a sister; their bond formed more than 30 years ago, when Zoia came to the United States.
Zoia is survived by her daughter, grandson, and many friends. . .her legacy of love will live on. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Kirkpatrick; and friend, Sharon Watson.
A funeral service is 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Pine Valley, 1320 East Dupont Rd, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 6600 Covington Road, Fort Wayne.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of your choice in Zoia’s memory.
