Mrs. McCartney was born on December 25, 1933 to her parents, John and Jewell Peringer. She married Billy Gene McCartney on March 5, 1965. The McCartney's moved to Fort Worth, Tx where Janiece worked at being a homemaker. She was very active in her church. She dedicated her life to raising her family, teaching Sunday School, Children's Church, as well as leading prayer circles at her local church.
Mrs. McCartney is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joel and Susan McCartney of Rome, Tx; daughter, and son-in-law, Janel and Roy Condrey of Breaux Bridge, La; and son, Nathan McCartney of Fort Worth, Tx; and eight grandchildren.
