Al attended Paschal High School and then went to serve in the United States Air Force for three and a half years. Al worked in the automobile industry all his life. He worked at A.T. Lowry Toyota and A.T. Lowry Auto Sales.
He loved shooting pool, watching football, Nascar racing and boating.
Al is preceded in death by his wife, Bette Hines, parents; A.T. Lowry and Freida Carter, and sister Juli Lowry.
Left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy are his children; Tracy Marpe', Cindy Harris and Lisa Deere, grandchildren Raechel, Samantha, R.J., Megan, Stephen, Natalie and Haden; seven great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, Michael Deere, Ray Harris, Judy Boone and sister Renee Stack.
A visitation for Al will be held Friday, August 22, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, 7100 CROWLEY RD, FORT WORTH, TX 76134, followed by a graveside service from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
Serving as pallbearers are Stephen Marpe, RJ Larkin, Ray Harris, Michael Deere and Haden Deere.
