Juanita Ray, 89, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, in Pflugerville Texas. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in a private graveside service at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Juanita a long time Fort Worth resident, was born in Nashville, Arkansas. In 1950, she married Coy Ray and together they moved to Fort Worth in 1959. She has been a member of Stadium Drive Baptist Church since 1963 and retired from the Soil Conservation Service in 1986. Preceded in death by her husband, Coy, in 1987; and her son, Kent, in 2016. Survivors are her daughter, Sandra Ray of Pflugerville, sister, Dell Pickett of Longview; daughter-in-law, Kathi Ray and family of Fort Worth; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved fur baby Skippy. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
