

At 81 years old he marched home to be with the Lord on February 2nd, 2020.
Andrew graduated from Anguilla High School in 1956. He joined the United States Army in January of 1959. He completed three tours in the Vietnam War, before retiring in March of 1984. He received several awards recognizing his hard work and dedication to this country. When he retired, he held the ranking of Master Sergeant. Post military retirement, he started working for the United States Postal Service in 1985.
He retired from the postal service in 2000. While there, he was a hard working, energetic union steward. In this position, he felt his purpose was to make sure everyone was treated fairly. At the Polytechnic station, he found his loving wife, Mira Mack. To this union he was married for 19 years.
Andrew enjoyed spending his spare time playing racket ball, feeding birds in his back yard, and watching sports. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan.
Those that preceded him in death are his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Eugene Mack, his sister Edna Knox, and his first wife Lavonne Keeling Mack.
He is survived by his wife, Mira Mack; his daughter, Patricia Mack; four grandchildren, Robert Smith, Ronald Smith, Tandinika Dawson (Fred), and Zenobia Womack (Clay); his three nieces, Shirley Hudson, Edna R. Knox-Virgil and Vivian Knox; and nephew, Johnny Knox. He is also survived by step children, Willie Watkins, DeMarlya Watkins, Terrence Watkins, Dedrick Sanders, Ronnie Sanders; 12 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a sea of friends.
