Anna "Polly" McCarty

Polly was born on June 4, 1930, to Clinton and Nannie Lively in Hico, Texas. She graduated from Seymore High School and was married to Bill McCarty on August 2, 1964.

Polly worked for the City of Lubbock, TX until moving to Fort Worth, TX where she worked for Montgomery Ward and retired after 30 years. She was a member of Western Hills Church of Christ.

Polly was preceded in death by brother Bobby Glen Lively, sister Helen Wills, father Clinton Lively, mother Nannie Lively, husband Bill McCarty, sister-in-law Kaye Lively, son-in-law Charles Moody, and daughter Shirley Hensley.

She is survived by daughters Nancy Moody, and Deann Bradford (husband Mike); and by five grandchildren. They include granddaughter Angela Chilcutt (husband Brian); granddaughter Kellie Fernandez (husband Chris); granddaughter Kim Sanchez (husband Jacinto); granddaughter Crystal Fischer (husband Scott); and grandson Jason Hess (wife Christina).

She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; sister Doris Welch (husband Richard); brother Jerald Lively; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family that will cherish her memories.

The funeral service will be held at the Chapel of Chimes, Fort Worth, TX on February 15, 2024, at 10 am, officiated by Gary Williams. Polly will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband at Laurel Land Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Fort Worth, TX, following the service.
