Annie Mae Robinson was born on March 14, 1959, in Abilene, Texas, to Josephine Evans and Eugene Robinson Sr.
She was one of seven children. She is survived by her brother, Eugene Robinson Jr. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Lavearda Stafford, Moses Robinson, Joe Robinson, Josie Robinson, and Billy Robinson.
Annie lived her life her way. She remained authentic to herself, and her energy reflected the spirit of her nickname, “Rainbow,” and later, “Miss Annie,” as she was lovingly known.
She was proud of her son, Khadevis Kekoai Tobias Dewuyne Robinson, her daughter-in-law, Stephanie, and her grandchildren: Khadevis Zion Robinson, Ishmael Kekoai Robinson, and Kioni Skye Robinson. She also held deep pride and love for her nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered for her strength, her individuality, and the love she carried for her family and everyone whose life she touched.
