Visitation: Tuesday, March 28th 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
Service: Wednesday, March 29th 10:00 am, at Laurel Land Funeral Home Chapel. Interment with honors will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
BG was born June 21st, 1926 in Doole, Texas to parents Frutozo Garza and Augustina Gonzales.
He was a World War II Veteran, Proudly serving in the Army from 1944 to 1946.
Upon his return from the Army, he married the love of his life Lucia Hill Garza on September 9, 1946, in Eden, Tx.
While in Eden, BG and Lucia welcomed the beginning of their family with their first 3 sons, Sammy, Victor, and Rey Garza (Rey born in Melvin).
In 1955 BG and Lucia moved to Hereford, Tx, completed their family with the last of 4 sons, Rick Garza. BG worked as an auto mechanic in a Ford dealership.
In 1967, BG and Lucia, and family moved to Fort Worth, TX where he continued his work as an auto mechanic with Dub Shaw Ford.
In 1983, BG and Lucia moved to Granbury, Tx where they lived the remainder of their years with family and friends.
BG was preceded in death by wife, Lucia Hill Garza, brother, Frutozo Garza Jr.
Survived by, Sons, Sammy Garza, Victor Garza, Rey Garza, and Rick Garza. Daughters-in-law, Elvira Garza, Anne Garza, and Kathleen Garza; Grandchildren, Milycia, Ricardo, Theresa, Talor, and River; Great Grandchildren, Victoria, Riley, Erika, and Jaxton; Great great grandchild, Elijah.
