Barbara Jane Powell McGee, Passed away on 1/19/2021. Jane was born in Houston 7/07/1943. She was her sister Sandra’s 1st birthday present. Jane went thru 1-12 grades in the Castleberry School District. She went to work for ATT in August 1961. She retired 36 years later. She had many friends from her school years and ATT years. Jane was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, A.W. and Kate Powell, her loving parents R.B. (Blake) and Edie Powell. Jane is survived by her husband Billy, Son Larry, Daughter Vicki and grandchildren William, Madeleine and Travis. Great grandchildren Abby Rhode. Sister Sandra and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and former son-in-law Alan Malone. She wanted to be a mother and mammaw. That was her goal. She reached that goal. She and Billy traveled all over the US when their kids were young and later took many cruises. She was a good cook, housekeeper, hostess and friend. She wanted to be remembered as being the most proud as a good mammaw.
