Berta,

You welcomed me into your family over 20 years ago. You gave the world my beloved Juliana and through her, my beautiful family. You were a major part of many of our fondest memories over the years. Even as the disease slowly took you farther from us. You were always close in our hearts. You will always be remembered as the wonderful, cheerful, sweet grandmother of my children. You are greatly missed. Rest in peace knowing you lived a life in which you were loved.

Abuelita, 
You were a wonderful grandmother to me even when you couldn't remember who I was. Your strength and optimism during tough times is something I admire and strive to replicate. I miss you, and I know you will always be in my heart.

She was always loving and warm to all of her grandchildren. Although the times we shared were long ago, those memories will forever be cherished. We will all miss her very much. We love you Abuelita.
